Hire car

If you’re hiring your own car beware the ever-changing speed limit on the motorways. It’s very easy to be caught by a speed camera when you think you’re travelling at the correct speed, but it’s changed and you missed the one sign!

Also make sure you put Callela de Palafrugell into the Sat Nav, NOT just Calella - it’s an hour away, and there’s also a Hotel Terramar there as well (we know we made this mistake once!)

Parking is extremely limited in Calella de Palafrugell and Llafranc, most of it on on street and it’s hard to find a spot. There is a small paid public car park as well.
